Looks like we Singaporeans have to start accepting the way of life here regarding our foreign imports. The gahmen ain’t budging on their stance pertaining to the issue of foreign workers open door policy. Personally I feel the influx is way too much for us to cope, where one could just observe in plain sight
Alamak! I’m truly a person who prefers a low profile life, and yes it’s in contradiction with my ever popular Melayu Boleh blog, but it seems I’m getting more exposure than I needed lah. One of my older blog entry, was quoted and posted on Temasek Review, a popular and an independent local internet newspaper

When I saw the below, all I can say her guardian angels are looking out for her. Damn lucky seh! A young woman emerged unscathed when two cars swerved onto the pavement she was walking along. A mini-van driving full-speed hit a Lada on a crossroads. After colliding, both cars turned around and smashed into

I was doing my work online, and out of the blue I recalled what my friend told me when we met up a few months back. I know, I can be so random. Well I remembered her telling me about old shows that we kids loved watching. One of them was “Moero Attack”. Those born

I always believe paying everything by cash. Why pay by credit when you’ve the money at hand, and I don’t like knowing that I’ve an unsettled bill by using money that I don’t have. That’s just so absurd to me. And yes however I do use my cards be it by debit, or credit at

I do miss Kuala Lumpur, when its Ramadan time. Usually it’s a toss between my grandma’s village, or KL, the ideal place to be when the fasting month comes. The excellent food, the hospitable people, and the goodies to purchase is the drawing points for such. But I guess work beckons. I’m just too busy

It’s a $387 million Youth Olympic Games screw-up I tell you. If it’s any indicator, first it was the ballooning of the budget from $122 million to its whopping $387 million. Then came to light of the awful food catering to its volunteer. These volunteers mainly student says they were coerced into joining, and was

Tradition or not, it’s inhumane and absolutely dangerous. 40 people were injured in northern Spain on Wednesday when a raging bull jumped into the packed grandstands of a bullring and ran amok. The terrifying incident happened in Tafalla, in the northern region of Navarra, and occurred when the animal leapt over the fence and climbed

Have you read of the recent case of Sunshine Empire. The people behind the company has been described by the courts as people with no ‘principles, scruples and morals’ for running a fraudulent company that amassed over $180 million and for faking accounts. Well they are all now either heading to jail, or getting fined.

A fascinating glimpse into the powerful forces that led an 18-year-old boy to walk into the lobby of a Jakarta hotel and blow himself up. Such despicable brain washing by unscrupulous Islamic extremists, who operates under the pretext of Allah, committing sins and all their heinous crimes against their own

For the non-Malay speaking readers of mine, babat means fatty-bom-bom, which is me. I can’t be bothered to blog today as work is piling up, so I’ll post a recent photo of me running. Yes this Uncle is still running, not competitively of course. I was sprinting just for the fun of it. Don’t be

“Udin, bangun sahur …” Well that’s what my mum used to say, when it’s time to wake up for my pre-meal in the morning before fasting period begins. I recalled once when I was really young, well I was such a sleeping beauty that I was thrown cold water to get me on my feet.

Remember how the Singaporean Cheenas population was the majority. Well now they’re fast becoming minorities similar to the Malays and Indians, ever since the influx of the foreign nationals into the work-force. Almost half of our population now are mainly foreigners. Xenophobia, I don’t think so! With that, at every turn I’ve difficulties in terms

My main YouTube usage is extensively for work. In between rest I’ll view my icanhascheezburger video subscription, some news, and at times look-up inspiring videos. Well I stumbled a brilliant documentary uploaded on YouTube via FB. That’s the very reason YouTube should exist. To educate, to inspire, but most of all to expand your mind.

I’m a routine person and a do-er, meaning my daily life at each corresponding period, I’ll allocate it to doing something. So far my routine has worked out well, expect for my mornings. If there’s any movie genre I love, it is Zombies! It’s weird however that though I like such gore, but I avoid paranormal and ghost films. I mean I can stomach the viewing, but those movies are scary shite man, and I usually can’t sleep well for a few days afterwards. So haunting, scary little

I’ve to admit STOMP is trash, but from time to time I would visit it for its users colorful and hilarious comments, plus keeping up with what is crappy in Singapore now. And one stomp article however got my attention, “Believe it or not, sampan man at Marina Bay Sands is university grad“. Well looks
