Hi, My name is Sha. I’m affectionately known as Uncle Sha, but my other aliases include Apek, Old Man, Mat and Din

It’s amazing I’ve been online and blogging for more than a decade. After all this while, I’m still a passionate blogger and will keep on writing.

To start off, I’m an Asian living in the tropical Singapore, approaching my 30’s and an aspiring entrepreneur to boot.

The thing about me I’ve always been independent person since I was young, to a point at time I find myself in seclusion and deemed introvert by others, but I’ve learned to socialize.

The fear of growing old, living on my own with thirteen cats just scares the hell out of me.

Being a person who likes to do things on my own and differently than others has gotten me into a lot of trouble and also at times rewarding.

I’m pretty sure that anybody who knows me will say I am very determined and quiet person. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes the loudest object are usually ‘empty vessel’. You don’t need to be loud to be heard. Just know the timing, situation and the people

Do not try to push my buttons, you don’t want to get on my bad side. Other than that I’m quite friendly

I’ve a small band of close friends – they know who they are – and I respect genuine, honest, trustworthy people. I also have my ‘crazy’ family, who doesn’t. Being blood ties, they’re always on my nerve but they’re family. I do feel guilty at times harboring thoughts of valuing my friends more than I do my family. So shoot me for being human …

Life is hard, no doubt about that. I’ve had a lot of jobs, and met a lot of different people. I think for my age, I got a lot of life experience compared to the majority of people. I have failed at a lot of things in my life and I’ve had my success too. Sometimes you need to fail to bring about the consequences of good

The reason I set up a blog is hugely because I want to chart and log the different phases of my life. I’d like to also meet like minded people aka real individuals. And I’ve truly met wonderful bloggers who turn out to be lifelong friends

If you have stumbled upon this blog by chance, well I bid you welcome. Here at my blog, I’ll share glimpses and events happening in my life.

This blog origin started from a static webpage way back before the Y2K era, and over the years it has gone through many design phases and domains. As I mature, this blog too will continue to evolve, so try to keep up alright

Other pages that might interest you is my devotion to running, getting guest bloggers on-board, a more detailed info of myself, Born in the 70’s Facebook page and lastly my disclaimer page

Life is meant to be enjoyed, so let’s find out how right here and now with me at my blog. I believe life is not about working 9 to 5. After three four years plus pissed at university, I truly hope I’ll get out of that rat-race. So grab my hand and embark on this blog epiphany of mine

I owe my success to having listened respectfully to the very best advice, and then going away and doing the exact opposite.

Hey Uncle Sha, stumbled upon your site from google a while ago. I find your blog a really interesting read, especially the part about your life story going from O level to ITE to Poly and Uni to being a freelancer (you freelancing now)? Doing what you want and not being tied down or swayed by ‘letters of opportunities’ and of course your then girlfriend. I guess these things are what many people have gone through, and I admire your resilience in choosing all the paths that you want to choose. I’ve starting blogging as of late and this is one of the few comments I’ve left on anyone’s blog. Just felt like leaving a message on a fellow Singaporean’s blog, and hope you excel you whatever you are doing now. Keep up the great articles! Bookmarked.
