First Kiss

It seems most of my quirky or usual STOMP-like observations are usually done in the train

I like my train ride to be vacant, so I would usually arrange a late morning meeting or after office hours consultations. Well one of those usual days after meeting my potential client, I was taking the train home. My train carriage had a few people in it and in those corner double seater I noticed a young couple

They’re really young, probably in their young teens, a Malay boy and a Chinese girl. I could say from my observations of glancing behind my The New Paper, they’re they’re having an ‘awkward’ time around each other, with the fidgeting and scarce shy eye contact. First date perhaps?

Anyway it got me wondering if the two had their first kiss yet. Hahaha, yes what a thought from this Uncle. Oh boy, it’s going to be a whole new experience for those two now … keke

My train of thoughts *no pun intended of course* then shifted on my first real memories of my own first kiss. Oh yes I recalled in vivid details as I was a late bloomer, maybe it be academia, work, sports and especially girls and relationships. Thus I have a good recollection of that ‘ordeal’ being the older you get, the more things, sometimes insignificant ones you tend to remember

I’ve been single all my life and dateless up to my 20′s. My interest in girls was inculcate in me by my schoolmates rather than my own in fact. Not that I’m crooked, nothing wrong being that of course, but I prefer to lead a low key life doing things that are more important in my life like earning a living. So girls wasn’t the top of my list

So one find day, the guys had the usual round-up of girl talk and I would lepak (relax) one corner and just listen to them. They were ranting of a new girl in school who was hot. They were more rowdier than usual and it kinda got me ‘interested’

Well I got behind the guys back and asked the girl out. Hahaha. Of course the guys was surprised being that I don’t show a general interest in girls much then and their ego hurt as I managed to get a date with her. And being guys, they of course probed me how the date went. A gentleman never tells right, and I didn’t …. well of course unless you’re my blog reader! Keke

Well in short all I can tell is that my first kiss was “WET”

Yes it was kinda ok but wet. You see movies and TV shows of lomantic people kissing, with sparks flying, fireworks going off and when it comes down to your own experience, it was a letdown. I don’t think there’s such a thing as someone being a good kisser naturally. You develop into it, well that’s I think

Like my coach always say, “Practice makes perfect” … keke

I’m sure many of you have gone through the many different phases of kissing, the slobber, frenchy, earlobe, cheeky, hickey, the surprising mistletoe kiss to lick kiss. There’s so many and so plenty of variation of kisses, its easy to get confused and get a bad rep if you happen to use the wrong one.

The thing about girls I learned is that there’s no such thing as good or bad with them, but things that makes them feel good. So you could be in the wrong, but still win the heart of a girl. I think during school time, female teachers should pull the boys aside and tell them this stuff, seriously!

Also on my part, I learned that kissing someone no matter how pretty or beautiful they are, if you don’t have a certain comfort level and connection between the two of you, the kiss will be just a plain simple kiss with no extra frills.

To make into an ‘electric’ kiss that couples deeply in love always rant about, well you just have to keep on dating, kissing and finding your right kissing partner I guess. I’m not saying you should be polygamous, but take your time as ye shall find
