Hello Sunshine

Alright here’s an update on my dating status. Yes I’m single and mingling, but with little success in hooking up or getting a second successive date, bummer. I’m so totally ‘rusty’ and nervous man!

I kept telling myself just “be me” and enjoy the company. That’s all I ask for. It helps if your date has something in common with you.

Yes I do believe in opposite attracts but what I learn from experience is that albeit opposite in nature, if both parties have the same values and goals in life, the transition through life as a couple would be much more smooth sailing than couples who has conflicting values.

One anecdote I can share on a recent date that didn’t go down too well is when my date said to me when I offered her my company home, she replied, “Oh it’s ok, my boyfriend picking me up after this.” … HAHAHAHA.

Super Furry Animals – Hello Sunshine (Glastonbury 2003)

Sometimes I wish and dream I’ve the financial freedom and could just enjoy the culture, people and partying without the worry of work.

To own places in Glastonbury, Woodstock, where awesome gigs are held. Just pop by for a visit, via Singapore on business class. Well that’s my dream of course.

It’s good to be single, as I feel there’s more focus for me to attain my goal and dreams in life, but then again, I also seek companionship. It can get pretty ‘lonely’ at times lah.

Well it was an old intern colleague, we had ‘something’ before but left hanging when I left. So when we met, she thought it was catching up, as for me I thought it was a date. Hahaha, signal crossed.
