I’m gonna rant somewhat of an ‘R’ rated entry today. As a disclaimer, youngster who frequent this blog, please do not continue reading this. If you do, I’ll come your house and knock your head!
We’re all adult here right, so it should be fine talking about this. I do have concern and reservation about today’s entry as it’s my first personal blog entry about sexual thingie lah.

Well here goes …
I was reading an online article and found some statistics on oral sex. It’s an online entry about the taboos and it’s misconception about oral sex. In fact, they did a survey, guys take note, most ladies do enjoy oral sex as much as we guys do
- 62% of women find receiving oral sex very enjoyable
- 28% of women find receiving oral sex somwhat enjoyable
- 4% of women find receiving oral sex unpleasant
- 2% of women find oral sex a taboo
Though the stats is a couple of months old and the demographic covers some 1000 ladies only, but I think it generally does represent what most ladies think of oral sex. But then again it’s an angmoh study. Cannot compare to Singapore ladies, as we Asian are more reserved.
Oral sex can be part of foreplay, a way to get ready for intercourse. It can be a substitute for sex when people want to wait to have intercourse as it’s ‘safe’, no shotgun here eh. Or if one or both partners are not able to have intercourse due to illness or disability. Or it can be a sexual variation to be enjoyed simply for the pleasure it brings.
It’s just delightful to see the ladies squirm with delight but there’s also ladies who gets turn off by the thought of it.
I still think many Singaporeans still has inhibition about oral sex. I don’t think someone just comes off naturally doing oral sex. Some people worry that they are not good enough at performing oral sex, so they avoid doing it.
In my opinion, to really enjoy a good oral sex between the partners, and if both are ‘virgin’ to this highly intimate act, they should ‘take the plunge’ if both are consentual and of legal age, with a few precaution in tow lah, like a good hygiene and no teeth!
No I’m not saying you should go out there and do it after reading this, but I feel Singaporeans are too self-conscious to enjoy many things like oral sex. It’s one of the major personal hang-ups one has to overcome.
The biggest reason why some people are inhibited about oral sex is because it is a highly intimate act. Your entire face is directly in front of your partner’s genitals.
No one should ever feel forced into giving or receiving oral sex. While most people do like it there are some people who just never will like oral sex. If you or your partner falls into that category, you can’t force the issue.
Enjoy other aspects of your relationship if oral sex isn’t for you. But if you do get into oral sex, then you’ll have lots and lots to enjoy!
So are you for or against oral sex … and your opinion on the taboos surrounding our local sexual ‘escapades’.

Here is my opinion as married man. It all depends on the wife (I said wife not girlfriend-dah halal). If the wife enjoy it, guys please give them what they deserve. Woman deserve to be satisfied first before you do.. There is a word for it.. Cunnilingus for woman or fellatio for man. Woman deserve a few orgasms in sex. One way of achieving that is oral sex.. I am not shy in this topic, I do practice oral sex & so does my wife.. we both enjoy it.. Our sex life is great because of that.. It work wonders in our life.. & now she is pregnant & I will be a father soon to a baby girl this November. I have been married for 3 years plus & after a while sex has become too routine.. Having oral sex helps to maintain marriage. It bonds us stronger & it brighten up my sex life.. The point I am trying to express here is that oral sex is advisable if you want to brighten up your sex life.. It works for me & my wife.. :0)
