The two sisters lost their parents in a fire in La Mancha, their birth village, years ago. What Uncle Sha learned
You know what, I couldn’t stop looking at Penélope Cruz in this movie.
There should really be a law for looking that good.
Seeing the film, I get the impression that the Spanish are really affectionate and animated people.
They lovingly exchange pleasantries with loud kisses on the cheek.
It is as if kissing on the cheek longer and louder has a correlation to how much you care for a certain someone.
If you want to get a free kiss from Penélope Cruz, just visit her in Spain. Yeah I know a pathetic cheap thrill tactic, haha.

Well anyway back to the film at hand, watching it, you’ll love to adore these strong willed, passionate, tender and full of conviction women.
The script was well written focusing on families with dark past secret. Who doesn’t have them right.
With an all female star cast and no male lead, you can tell the movie doesn’t depict men that well.
They’re mainly seen as flirtatious, philandering pigs who are mainly portrayed as bums and having wandering eyes. You could say it’s a men-bashing movie.
As for me, I’m alright with that, as look there’s Penélope Cruz. I usually brighten-up every time she is on-screen.
She’s such an eye-candy. I know I’m repeating myself, but I can’t help it lah. Hey what do you expect, guys always thinks with their dick first, the sanity comes later playing catch-up.
I can understand why women would love such a movie, as it’s all about the gals, unbridledly facing the vicissitudes of everyday life by taking charge.
Any feminist would be proud and love this film.
