Synopsis
A young woman pretends to be pregnant in order to avoid being fired from her job. When that gets her special treatment by everyone involved in her life, she tries to keep up the lie for nine months
What Uncle Sha learned
Here’s a crazy movie about a girl, Thea, played by Lindsay Lohan, who would rather be pregnant than face reality.
Her fake pregnancy status it seems gave her preferential treatment all-around, and generally people are much nicer to her.
Once Thea started the lie, it was the beginning of covering one lie after another, and you know how that usually ends.
It culminated in Thea losing her job, friends, and self-respect, but of course such a family movie always comes with a redeeming outcome.

Once Thea has accepted her issues head-on, the conflict was resolved as Thea make amends with everyone.
Yeah it’s a feel-good happy movie, plus the usual romance and comedy premise that is a chick-flick.
I wouldn’t say Lindsay Lohan was exceptionally great in this film, she’s just being herself, like in all her other movies.
With those big sparkling eyes, skanky tight figure, pasty looking skin, who can resist such a ‘lolita’ right.
