My hope is that since they are making a 4th movie, the 3rd one was simply a way to get more funding for the “actual” ending to the story of Santi. My take on it is: they make a crap movie, fill it with random fillers, hope the franchise name of Goal will sell it, and then use whatever cash they get from this to create a bigger budget finale. It could just be me talking out my ass, but I hope there is a reason for such a bad movie. Unless of course the people in charge were just high on PCP the whole time.
