When I thought things couldn’t get any worse for me, it just did.
I cut myself when a whole cabinet of plates fell on moi due to a faulty cabinet screw, my Internet connection kept disconnecting, paying school fees when I’m away on work attachment (wheres the logic in that? ), sadly yesterday my beloved Man United lost to Man City in the Manchester Derby (must be Ain badmouthing my precious Man Utd, your turn mulut masin … haha) and my hamstring injury still plaguing me, sighhh.
Does It Get Any Worse than This?
Maybe I shouldn’t have said that eh, as I bet there’s people with far-off more worse predicament.
Well baby steps now, bling bling
Yesterday was the IVP, aka Inter Varsity Meet where all the local tertiary & varsity institutions athletes slug it out on the track.
Today was mainly the heats. Being there and knowing I’m unable to run and represent my school, well it just sucks man!
But its nothing new to me as I’ve been out injured before & I’ll preservere.
You learn from your mistakes, let yourself heal, and come back better.
I’m glad to see a few of my mates did well in their respective events, though some crashed & burn, I’m sure they’ll come back again stronger.
After the IVP, we kinda went to town, in particular Orchard for dinner and Paul was on a shopping spree. We did the usual, eg; hanging out in town, checking out the chicks, chicks checking us out, you know, the works lar
Shortly after dinner, we then decided to watch a movie, “Memoirs of a Geisha” but it seemed all the show-times was kinda late. We agreed we might as well watch a late-night screening but somewhere near our homes.
I’ve not read the book yet, but hearing from Paul’s comments of the movie, the director has omitted lotsa stuff from the book. Looks like Ill have to get the book then (btw check out this blog entry made by my friend LTS, a movie spoof of the mentioned movie)
