I rarely get sick, it’s been four years plus now, but I do however get stomach upsets on occasion.
And to think I’m having one now when I’m serving my ICT, bawak suey lah.
Anyway I think I know why I do get such upset tummy ache…
It’s because the amount of crap I consume on a daily basis!
I reckon somewhere along the line, there’s some contamination when preparing or handling the food itself.
You’ll be surprised at the amount of food I ‘makan’ for my size.
But of course, I don’t splurge on fatty food, nor do I have ever diet in my life.
On most days I eat plenty of ‘good’ foods from wholemeals, lots of fiber to my favorite meal, pasta.
With that I’ve never ever need to worry about the times when I do indulge.
With such frequency for my eating habits, I do lose track of the food I’ve ate, as I would usually be munching food every two hours to sustain my energy level, and cravings.
I guess it’s a lost cause if I were to create a food log of the stuff I consumed eh. And with all the stomach upsets I’ve had previously, I learned by hard the best way to recover from it is.
- Drink plenty of water
- Try Camomile tea, it soothes my stomach
- Consume probiotic drinks to replace the bad bacteria in your gut
- Eat plenty of fruits and veggies
