Diet Pills Don’t Work!

Sha August 5, 2009 2

Going into health blog topic today. Diet Pills not necessarily ain’t effective, it works to a certain extent, but it comes with a price and side effects. It is only prescribed to obese patients who is out of options and would undertake the risks associated with it for the benefits.

What side-effects you might ask, here’s a few:

  • A risk of high blood pressure
  • faster heart rate
  • palpitations
  • closed-angle glaucoma
  • drug addiction
  • restlessness
  • agitation
  • insomnia
  • oily spotting bowel movements
  • oily stools
  • stomach pain

And now there’s over the counter diet pills and I shudder at the thought of people who ain’t got a clue on using it. I know a couple of people who are suffering for the side-effects of diet pills, and it ain’t a pretty sight.

Kelly takes dangerous steps to be thin.

Ultimately just be happy in whatever state you are, round, thin or fit. If you want to lose weight, do it the right way. There’s no shortcut to looking and feeling great.

I do agree wit uncle sha: There’s no shortcut to lose weight & if u wanna lose it, do it the right way. Exercise + eating right r the best way, and brings lotsa benefit to your body. Dependency on diet pills (be it drug or herb based) will lead to stomach upset or even worse, kidney failure as your system won’t be able to flush the compounds effectively.
