Nature Essence Antioxidants

Antioxidants supplements basically eliminates the free radicals in our body. If left uncheck it will cause abnormality such as cumulative damage to the important tissues of your nervous system, joints, internal organs, and blood vessels.

Overall, free radicals have been implicated in the development of at lease 50 diseases! A partial list includes arthritis and other inflammatory diseases, kidney disease, cataracts, inflammatory bower disease, colitis, lung dysfunction, pancreatitis, drug reactions, skin lesions and aging, to mention only a few.

So that’s why I’ve been taking antioxidants which suppress these free radicals these few years. It’s even more important that I take antioxidants as being an active person, I’m more likely to produce more free radicals than sedentary one.

There’s practically hundreds of antioxidant out there in the market. So which one to choose?

Look for a complete antioxidant. A complete antioxidant will contain more than one antioxidant nutrient. The most common antioxidants are vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene and selenium. These single nutrients have excellent antioxidant properties, but taken alone theyare not nearly as effective as when taken together orwhen combined with other more powerful antioxidants such as pine bark and grape seed extract.

Interestingly, the body already contains the most potent and powerful antioxidant available: super oxide dismutase (SOD). But because SOD is destroyed in the digestive system, it cannot be absorbed if taken orally.

However, research has shown that providing the precursor nutrients (copper, zinc and manganese) that form the “building blocks”of SOD in the correct ratios, the body can produce even more of its own SOD.

So find antioxidant supplements with combi-nation of pine bark and/or grape seed extract, chelatedantioxidant minerals, whole food antioxidant vitaminsand a SOD Precursor System (copper, zinc and man-ganese).

Hope this helps
