My old trainers

When you want to do your workouts, one of the most essential item is getting a good trainer.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive mind you.

The one I currently have is just under $50 and its a good trainer. You just need to know on how to pick them out.

Firstly you need to know your feet itself. Such as finding out if you are flat feet, or do you tend to run more using the outside of your feet … those types of factors.

All this can be determined by simple test by looking at your wet footprint or observing your current trainers soles.

Once you get your feet composition type, then look for the trainers that suits your feet.

Well recently for my birthday, an old trackie pal, seven years and counting, bought me a good trainer.

New Balance it was. Light weight, and good for race training like doing tempo and speed work.

So with that gift, I disposed of the older trainer. I usually have a pair for my training to alternate it daily.

More or less the lifespan of a trainer if you’re doing your workout regularly is around 5-6 months, but it depends.

You can also determine its lifespan by looking at the soles.

So protect your feet, don’t go cheapskate, but don’t go overboard however. The price tag does not determine its functionality.
