Uncle Sha

Well here’s another update on my back-to-training progress.

I’m doing fine, my weight has in fact stabilizes between 68-69kg, which is rather disappointing, I really want to tip 70kg plus weight, but it’s not meant to be for now.

I guess I’ll have to keep eating more!

It’s really hard to consume 4,000 calories a day do you know. That literally means I would need to have something within my reach always when I’m awake, munching and gobbling. And that’s not a pretty sight.

If only there’s such a safe and easy method of using intravenous IV, to get the needed calories and nutrients into my body. Munching that much is making my jaw as wide as Arnold Schwarzenegger now.

During my progress, some friends are in fact asking why am I doing this.

Well I responded with “Why Not”.

I would, I could, and I did … it’s far better than getting more babat (plump) at my love handles.

The thing is I really want the need to feel needed, alive and to do something constructive. I’m a to-do type of person, and I partly blame it on my OCD, haha.

I started this initiative a day after my 31st birthday and I never looked back. And nah it’s too early to say it’s a mid-life crisis.

It’s been like nearly three years since I last did so much running, but it’s all worth it lah. My body took it real hard the first few weeks, but it’s adapting well now. I’m getting into a nice routine.

Those who have access to my daily fitness blog should know what I’m going through. Don’t bother asking me for the link, I like to keep my workouts low profile.

So far the endorphins rush I’ve been getting truly made my day, plus this new focus of mine ain’t affecting my work, so why not continue with it right.

I learned that training now compared to when I younger, well there’s a need for me to recover more, being older … but with that comes the experience, and I now workout smarter.

So give it a try people, Uncle Sha is 31 going on 32, but I’m doing alright … and you can do it too. Pick a sport, or something. It starts with a YES.

    hey…. gd for u…i know how it feels to really njy doing something tt u really like or just focusing on tt goal tt we want to achieve… so i wld say.. to the heck what others want or would like to say… as long as u r njying wat u r doing… i wld say.. continue to do so… cos at the end of the day, the naysayers will be the one green with envy with your hot bod!!! so give them an evil laugh… hahahhahahha… :D

    wow, so u really achieve it, tats great. everyones knows tat a person can do it. dont give up. i actually been like that before. my usual weight is 42 only. in a sudden my weight is 49. well yeah im only 15 this year.
