Did you guys catch the match this morning?

Kinda boring right

Still it’s none other than inspirational David Beckham who setup England only goal against a tough-nut Austria, in their latest friendly match earlier this morning

David Beckham swung in a sweet corner kick which was headed into the goal by Peter Crouch in the 44th minute

We got the win but we lost Michael Owen to a thigh strain, but at what cost

We truly need Owen and the rest of the lads to be injury free for their next European qualifier match against Croatia on Wednesday, for which we must win to have an inkling of a hope to qualify

I think McClaren should have rested the big stars for this exhibition match. I think he makes tactical mistakes not just on the field but his selection policy left little to be desired for

The goal by Crouch was his 13th in 23 international appearances

I’m still an England supporter but I gave up watching their nonsense friendlies a long time ago. I think England should be led up front by Rooney and Crouch. Owen cannot make it oredy lah.
