I would have thought by now Spain would have top Group H, but it’s the Chilean instead. With two wins in their two matches so far, it’s really up to them to field a strong or weak squad for their last match. The latter in more likely as they want to rest their star players.
But then again if they do top the table, their second round progress will be much ‘easier’ as they will face a team that finished second placing in the other Group during the draw.
The hallmark of the Chileans is that they are a team that makes few mistakes, sticks to their game plan, and are patient in their build-up. Not an exciting team to watch, but they do have quality.
