I’m sure by now for England supporters, the reality finally sinks in. Our team is out of the World Cup, and I didn’t expect them to get booted so soon.
But then again they deserve to lose if based on their abysmal Sunday’s performance. They got no pace, their positional awareness was crap, well basically the English players can’t play at the highest level.
Yes the EPL is the best league in the world, but that’s because of the influx of foreign players that are within their teams. The English FA really need to overlook reputable players but are actually crap like Heskey & Gareth Barry when calling them up for the national squad.
They should focus on developing young talent, and pick players that are more driven with a hunger to win. Just take a look at the German squad, they’re a young bunch and they trashed England.
