Japan vs Cameroon

I was really surprised that the Asian teams are doing well for the first round of the World Cup. An unfancied Japan team beat a talented Cameroon side by a goal.

Yup that’s all the Japs needed, a clean strike at goal, and from then onwards they held on for dear life. Cameroon was menacing on many occasion in the Japanese half, but they just didn’t convert their possession and chances well.

The Japs played perfect soak-and-attack soccer tactic. They nearly put another goal ahead in the second half on the counter attack. Matches in the World Cup is always a close game. This time round, the Japs got the better of the Cameroonians.
