Michael Owen
Finally Michael Owen is at the right club.
Sure he had success at Liverpool on his formative soccer years, but beyond that, bleah he’s just a blimp on the soccer map.
If anyone can turn things around for a player development, it’s Alex Ferguson and the Theater of Dreams.
Sure it’s a gamble, but recall the period we had the Swedish oldie Henrik Larsson, or the time when Sir Alex kept faith at one unknown Frenchman Eric Cantona.
Owen was quoted, “Manchester United, you automatically think winners, you think trophies, you think the stadium, the massive fan base, but until you sign you don’t really let yourself get carried away”.
The 29 year old free agent has signed a two-year deal with Premier League champions, Manchester United.
He is the fourth footballer since the Second World War to played for both Manchester United and their rivals Liverpool.
I really think his injuries plight is more of psychological, rather than physiological.

If Owen can find his touching form with dozens of goals, then it’s a shot on Rafa’s foot. I belive Rafa is the blocking point of Owen going back to Anfield.
Indeed … I think Owen has a point to prove, to his detractors yes, but mainly himself.
I can’t wait for the soccer season to start!
