Rejoice as the defending champion are out! I’ve never really liked the Italian side, to me albeit talented, they’re professional whiners. I was ecstatic that the Slovaks managed a historic feat by beating them.

The Italians needed just a draw to qualify for the next round, and they couldn’t even do that. So I reckon they deserve to be booted out. They finished last in their Group too, haha.

An exciting game to watch, scrappy but entertaining. The Slovakian now have an important tie the next round. They’ll face the Dutch team. I do hope there will be another upset!
