Viva Espana

I just woke up from sleep with a big smirk. Did ya all caught the match earlier this morning. I think everyone should have known by now Spain have won the Euro 2008. I pity those who had to go to school or work this morning. Don’t get caught during work or in class napping away :p

Well at least one of two of my prediction came true. Netherlands have to keep on trying but they’re a talented squad, its the mindset to be able to get past crunch time that they have to overcome.

While Spain looks like a sleeping giant who has been awaken, watch out for them for the World Cup 2010. They have shaken off the ghost of soccer past. Well Germany also has a young attacking minded players, they will always be the Big Guns to watch in any tournament

I was sad to see David Villa who was hot in the tournament, out injured but Torres stepped up to the plate to fill his shoes. By no mean it was near his best capabilities we’ve seen in the Premiership, but he delivered

Well it was a month of great soccer, and its over now. Soccer season is truly over for year 2008. No Premiership, no Champions League, no Euro … haiz. What is a boy to do now. I was pondering and have came out a few ideas to offset the soccer withdrawal syndrome

1. Set all the alarm clocks to go off at ten minute intervals throughout the day to keep my mind off soccer
2. Dress up my cat
3. Play with my house door
4. While at the mall, move the “Caution: Wet Floor” signs to grass/carpeted areas
5. Throw things into the next door or downstairs neighbour window
6. Attempt to fit into my traveling briefcase; if can’t try the cat
7. Make a trail of crumbs biscuits from my house to the mall
8. Switch men and women toilet sign in public
9. Fill my shopping cart with boxes and boxes of condoms and watch people reaction
10. In the hardware store, go to the funnel sections and practice my diva Madonna pose with the funnels
11. Hit on old aunties

Well that’s just at the top of my head, any more suggestions :p
