Well ever since I moved to Hall like 2 weeks back, I’ve settled into a somewhat of a routine. I used to be a night crawler with panda eyes and all
But now with me staying here, I’ve been sleeping rather early like omg 10-11pm!! and waking up in the wee of morning to do my stuff. Maybe it’s a switch to a new environment that made the change. I mean it’s good la, now I can start the day bright and early.
Weekdays for me are assigned to the usual school stuff and training which I might add, is more fun these days! While the weekend is more like recovery days. For example today which is Saturday I usually would go to VJC to train with my mates.
I love the morning setting as I leave my Hall. In the bus with my Ipod, this mat bangla just relax one corner with my feet on the seat railing. Usually there’s no one around in the double decker 199 bus, so I’m brave enough to do this, haha!

There would of course be training at VJC. Intense as it is, I’m glad I’ve great training mates to spur me on and for me to actually look as role models. Some of you might be surprised at the kind of sacrifice some of our young talents are committing to their sport.
They train daily except Sundays. Yes we are ‘siao’ in some sense but it’s the love and passion for our events that kept us going all these years.
At the end of the day, we need not any rewards but the satisfaction that we’re inching closer to our goals.
Anyway there’s so much politics in the athletic association that it’s much better for athletes not to ask for any ‘handouts’.
UK Shyam broke the 100m record on his own, so did Chamkaur Singh in 1500m and plenty of other amazing athletics feats were made and achieved by athlete’s own initiative and preserverance.
Anyway back to my blog entry, haha sometimes I deviate too much la … local track & field has lot of politics, it gets me riled up most of the time just thinking about it. If you’re wondering how my Hall looks like, there you go. Taken from the bus

Ok now emo posing

After training today, there was soccer! Yipeeeeeeee but the thing is, my blister got worse! Heh wanna see it again? Yeah I damn gross

Then it’s back to Jurong Point for makan time and back to Hall for my weekly room cleaning and laundry. Then it’s a short nap before hitting the books and playing computer games in between. Well that’s how my Saturdays are usually spent.
