Resurrection

Bahhh, for the past two days plus, I’ve been without an Internet access and I felt so ‘handicapped’ man. Erm nope I did’t have any withdrawal syndrome lah, but it’s so mafan (troublesome) as a major bulk of my daily activities requires an online presence, in particular my work.

I finally managed to get my SingCrap to work today after the technician fixed the line issues. And you know what, I’ve got to subscribe to a better mobile broadband coverage if my landline broadband is down.

Anyway I’ve been bumping into acquaintances lately, from my former workmates to school buddies. And they were surprised that I was still alive!

Well I wouldn’t blame them as I’ve been keeping a low profile these few years, keeping in-touch only with those I’m comfortably close only, and never those outside my circle of peeps.

And most of the people I bumped kept asking me you know the usual, my relationship status, work, interest and such. It got me thinking if I’ve come to a point in my life where I wanted to be, and you could say yeah I’m comfy with what I’m doing curently.

I’m pursuing what I love, be it work or at play, and despite my disappointing love-life, I’m still optimistic.

I know currently that I lack the previous camwhoring stuff that I did on my blog, but sorry lah, I’m beyond that vainpot phase of my life, haha. I’ll however post a few picture of me in the future if the pics complements me, keke.

For now, I’m embedding two vids of my recent training outtakes at NUS. Don’t laugh, yes I’m still training, and back running after a three-year layoff. Why am I still ‘punishing’ myself at the age of 32? Well for the endorphin rush of course, it gives me wings, and it makes me feel good.

Vid #1

We had relays time-trial last Saturday. Usually on Saturday we would be doing strength endurance such as sled for training, but since most of my training group is going for an overseas meet in the coming week, a time-trial is in order. I’m running leg #2, bare-bodied, the slow uncle. I tried my best, but there’s a stark difference from me a 11.5s runner versus a 10.5s runner.

Vid #2

I’m running leg #3 now. If you look closely I dropped the baton. It’s deja-vu once again for me and my incoming second runner, as the failed botch baton pass occurred exactly the same back thing back in 2007 IVP, haha.
