Three Weeks of Training Alone

I don’t like training alone. But if needed, I would and could.

But still, if possible, training with someone is best for me, as you’re more motivated and there’s some to push you.

I’ve a couple of training partner in my group, but I’m more close to Cicak’s bf. The rest are ok but sometimes we’re not on the same wavelength

Well my training partners are away again. Last week was the Asian Championship in Jordan, now this week it will be World University Games in Thailand.

They’re flying off tomorrow. So that makes three weeks in total I trained alone. Bummer … haiz

Well when they do returned, they won’t join me for training as I’m doing my training and they theirs, recuperating in training.

Abit more slack than mine, while I’m still loading. The hard kind of training.

Anyway recently I’m been doing great on the training front. I tried converting that on a 400m time trial by the coach. I did a 52.8 seconds, yes my first sub 53s of the year but it’s still bad!

I didn’t feel good on the run and I know I could have done better. Here’s are my split for the 400m

24.5s > 37.9s > 52.8s

Yes I ran too slow for the first 200m and suffered.

The previous on training I was doing easy 23s!

I need to learn to pace myself well

Prior to this, my training form is a 51 seconds but I couldn’t convert it to actual 400m run. I ran alone also in the time trial, well I could give all the reason in the world, so I guess it’s really up to me for that breakthrough I’ve been waiting for the past two years since my injury.

I believe I can. In fact I will! Hehehe …

61kg-2007.jpg

Anyway from all the dedicated training and my own cardio session, I’ve shed alot of weight. Yes if you’re observant you can see it. I’m at my lightest ever at 61kg for the past years. Before I took up dragonboat I was 57kg, then I grew muscles and a six pack, ballooned to 69kg. Now I’m aiming for 59kg. The lighter I am, the lesser I need to carry during my run, yet still maintaining that speed and power. Well that’s gonna be tough! But I’ll try

You wanna see my new 61kg body in photo? Hehehe abit cheekopek here …
If yes, I’ll post it on the next entry

Wanna see the new lean mean Uncle Sha?

I don’t think there was anything wrong with your body to begin with! But since it’s for speed when running… Anyways I don’t worry about you, I’m sure you know really well how to go about it healthily!

I’m about 51kgs right now. Aiming to be 49 kgs but not exactly exercising a lot these days!
