At this stage of training I am working on building my base.
My long run is 12miles and normal run is 8miles.
At this point of season I am training every day. Because we are trying so many new things this year I can only give a recent week of training
Monday: AM 3 miles & weights … PM 8miles (45mins)
Tuesday: 3miles warmup & 2miles cool down, workout 2×3 5miles hills (9hills per set, 1set continous, 2nd set work uphills, relax downhills) & medicine balls
Wednesday: AM 3 miles & weights … PM 8miles (45mins) & hurdles
Thursday: PM 5 miles (33mins) & medicine balls
Friday: AM 3 miles & weights … PM 8miles (50mins) & hurdles
Saturday: 6x800m/400m jog (2×2:20, 2×2:18, 2×2:16), 800m joog, 5x300m/100m jog (52, 50, 48, 46, 44)
Sunday: 12miles (1:16)
