Ever since I left school, and began another phase of my life, for the past two years plus now, I’ve felt inadequacy of sorts, I work hard, but I felt I could have played harder.
So the past month or so I made a new resolve to ‘play’ more, and so far my progress have been encouraging.
Today at the gym, weighing myself, I found that my new weight is 69.1kg, 1.7kg more than in December 2009.
It was just as I predicted a month back. So I reckon I’ll be hitting 70kg plus weight region in the coming 3-4 months, which means I’ll be packing more lean muscles.

A collage of my one month plus of ‘play’ so far …
Yup Uncle Sha is getting bigger, stronger and faster. Take me as a guinea pig, 31 going on 32, it’s never too late to reverse the ill-effect you’ve put your body through all these year whatever your age.
We humans have a life expectancy of 120 years, not many reaches that mark as we neglected, and just let ourselves go. Of course living that long, it’s best to live your twilight years with as much ‘quality’ of life as possible.
I’ve read a study once, a 60 year dude if he starts leading a life of eating the right food, workout often, and complement it with proper recovery, his body will be equivalent of an unfit 30 year old.
So there you go, start now, and take control of your life. If Uncle Sha can do it, so can you.

Looking at those pictures, I miss ‘playing’!!!!.. The progress is nonetheless painful, but with a good training partner (31 going on 32) and quite a bit of dirt (mud and blue stain), the reward of self-achievement after training is priceless..
Well, this chapter of my life is all about studies, I’ll see you when you are 32 going on 33..
Your picture in the middle, the one where you’re elevating your right leg. What muscle group does it target? Maybe you wanna do a video of how you warm up and cool down, coz whenever I train, I am not so sure if everything I do, is right. If anything goes, I think my warm ups and cool downs are routine and mundane.
That’s Kickbacks, for the core. It’s part of my dynamic warmup.
Just do an online search for “dynamic warmup”.
Plenty of guides online.
