Being funny need to come naturally and its great to lighten the mood when in a new awkward situation, especially dates. I’ve read too many online dating articles to know that girls like funny guys … BUT ultimately in the end they marry rich jerks. Just kidding lah! Hey I just made a joke there :p
I think its an attractive trait for me that is, if my date or someone I’m getting to know has a sense of humor. Laughter we all know is important to all of us, but of course there are those who thinks highly that they’re funny but are annoying. I think there’s a time and situation to being funny, that’s where comic timing comes in
There was once I tried to be funny a little too hard and it kinda got creepy. But my intention was good, some people just have to look beyond my joker scary face. You can’t really teach on being funny, its a matter of either you got it or … try not to make a fool of yourself too excessively doing it.
I myself admit I’m not the funniest guy in the world but I had my moments. I always tell myself just be natural and no more “knock knock” jokes on dates! Keke
It’s all quite subjective. One grp of my relatives & family members appreciate my sense of humour & wittiness, while another grp find me totally boring to de core.
