This is a guest blogger entry by Chen Chee Kui (http://www.miriguy.com)
Whenever I say that I want to be a full time Problogger, some of my friends would smile and look at me as if I am a convict on a run. And they even laughed when I told them I want to be millionaire before I am 30 years old. Funny? I don’t think so.
Okay, this post is actually inspired by these articles published in NST today. That’s what the NST posted in their news today.
They featured two interesting articles about 3 great probloggers from Malaysia and well known gurus like LiewCF, Gobala Krishnan and also Alang, and how they made their money online.
As a probloger myself, I am proud for them. They have made it. And they are the living proof that I can use to tell my critics and supporters that money can be made online. You gotta have faith and determination.
There are actually a lot of people who are already earned themselves the spot they deserved. Who doesn’t know John Chow, the dot com mogul? He is making money online too.
If they can do it. We can do it too. Choose a topic, or in a more specific term, a niche that you are passionate about and be an expert in your field.
It will take time. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Set a specific timeline that you think you can make it.
It’s a process. It’s a marathon, not a 100-metre dash. So, don’t rush things. And don’t ever lost your focus.
Actually, you don’t even have to blog about making money online. If you are currently blogging about your life and consists of your daily ramblings, then keep it that way. Xiaxue did that and she is famous. So, don’t leave your options narrow.
If you haven’t started your own blog. I guess now is the time to do so. It’s never too late to do so. Give it a 3 years time to grow and with the right amount of nurture, you shall reap the reward. That’s when you will be the one laughing. ;)
Chee Kui is a problogger and, like Uncle Sha, he know some wealth secrets that you can make online with your blog. He is determined to be a millionaire before he is 30 years-old.
Thanks for the chance to be a featured guest blogger in this wonderful blog. See you on the flip side!

An army of Generation C are invading Malaysia and they are saying, “show us the money”… aaargh!
Hmm.. Nasir, I don’t get it. :p Mind to elaborate?
We’ve heard of Generation X, Y and D… The past couple years, we’ve identified a new generation of people: Generation Content, or Generation Creative.
Not everyone can be a journalist, but almost everyone can write and publish to the masses today. Not everyone is artist, but everyone can be creative.
The term “content is king” has been here for many, many years, but today, it’s starting to make sense. MDEC is also now more dedicated than ever on advocating content creation with its affiliation with Creative Commons and local-hosted multimedia/animation industry.
And if in the past, we wrote and produce content on the Web for free, now, more Malaysians have found out their potential niche in actually making money, life-supporting income or even wealth out of producing content for the Web, be it of quality for productivity or, junk for entertainment. (I’m not saying that entertainment = junk –> 3G: girls, gambling and games are huge money-makers on the Web for a full decade now). But sex is no longer the ultimate king. Work and Content for making a living seems to have taken over in the minds of most Web2.0 users today, and it’s hitting Malaysia big time in 2007.
Personally, I’m advocating MICROPRENEURISM and I think, it’s about time, Malaysians can be on the same par with citizens of developed nations. Malaysia BOLEH! (After all, Bill Gates said that the next success/big thing/ie. “Bill Gates” will come out of Asia). If anyone’s interested, check us out at Pajamanation (we’re in 50 countries today, and will make a huge impact in three years from today).
Citizens of Wikipedia have compiled an even larger list of what C constitutes:
* C – Control
* C – Content
* C – Communicate
* C – Creativity
* C – Channel
* C – Creative Class
* C – Community
* C – Competition
* C – Compost
* C – “Children of the 1930’s”
* C – Connected
* C – Celebrity
* C – Co-Creators
* C – Condescending
* C – Code (myspace profile editing coding)
* C – Creators
* C – Credibility
* C – Cusper (What is a cusper?) Generation
* C – Consensus
