I don’t want to scare off faithful yet ardent readers from shadotcom, so I will try my very best not try anything that will bore you guys. I’m pretty much psyche over writing on someone else’s column. Don’t get me wrong, because for once, shadotcom has quite a reputation, unlike what.am.i.doing.here.dot.com.
I won’t try to act funny, I won’t write things that I don’t feel comfortable, so I just be myself. Tension to the max man! Stress okay! Wahahahahahahahaha
Anyway, since I’ve given the outmost in charge of the whole blog entry, and I don’t have the time to do a quick intro, because, number 1, this ain’t IRCing or MSNing, where you go all, male malay 26 years old, 1.68 m and 60 kg, loosing some more weight, ahucks!!! kinda thang…
number 2, if I were to write about myself, you will definitely hit the x and surf some other better blogs, *cough cough*
and number 3 … okay, I don’t have a number 3. I just like to have a number 3 just in case.

Back to business. I have a very soft spot for old people. In my line of work, (I am a para.medic from S/C/D/F thank you very much), I have the opportunity of conveying many sick people, that generates much of the older population. When I say old, I mean someone who is about the age of 65 or older!
It’s a very rare opportunity for those who are not in my line because for the past few years, I’ve seen so many cases of old people, who are not only sick, but were treated rather in a cruel yet comfortable environment. Let me redeem myself when I say this.
Not so very long ago, I was activated to a very nice condominium, for a call of a very sick old man. I was greeted with the most beautiful china plates, antiques and very nice paintings that explore the whole apartment. I might add, the person living in that condominium, had rather good taste.
But what made me flip was the condition of the owner’s father, an old man, about 75 years of age, lying on a mattress just outside the toilet, completely soiled with his feces and urine incontinence all over himself and the mattress. And alarming I might add, the old man could be there for almost a few days. Don’t remind me, the mattress was soak with all the urine incontinence! Literally soak!
It seemed that the owner’s maid was flown back to her maiden country and there was no one to look after the old man. So, the owner decided to place his dad, near to the toilet, so that he could make his own way to the toilet, without much of a hassle. The irony part was, his dad needed someone to aid in his walking. His dad could not move himself!
Since his dad could not make his way to the toilet, he did what he needed to do to relieve himself. The image of the old man, soiled with all the dirt and the smell was not really a turn off. But for someone to treat another human, who is his own fresh and blood!!! For that reason, I got turn off! Heartless? I wish I could use a better word for that.
And I suspected that the old man was there probably for a few days, because his feces had already dried up, and it was not really fresh out from his pants. The best part when I asked about his dad condition, the stupid, retard owner could tell me that he was not aware becos his wife and himself were working the whole day.
I wouldn’t even want to argue whether he had feed the old man, but I guessed the least that I could do, was that I demanded a few fresh sheets or blankets, and as my crew and I cleaned his father up, I literally just threw the soil sheets onto the owner’s parquet flooring.

You should see how I flare up as I threw the dirty, soiled, sheet on his clean, nice flooring. I went ‘splat, splat and more splat!’ Let those retards clean the mess! But I forgot that rich people will somehow or another, employ another human being to do their dirty mess!
But what do I care! I felt so angry at how they treated their father. That is not how they should treat another human being.
I believed what I am trying to relay in this entry is, treat others the way that you want others to treat you. Even though that someone might be old, but do remember, the upbringing and the love and care that they had provided you, when you were growing up. It does not mean that after you have become successful, you lay off your duties completely and expect a maid to look after your parents.
I am not saying you should not seek help, but remember, it is our duty to look after our parents as well. Remember, without their support and guidance, we are nothing in this world to begin with.

And to end this ‘serious’ entry, I am so glad that my itchy fingers didn’t add any of my own pictures!!! Wahahahahahahahah. Hhhmmmm.. Maybe if someone can photoshop and make me look like a 75 year old man!!! Wahahahahahahahahhahahahaha…
Lastly, good luck to uncle sha for his next an upcoming battle, the late nights studying, and drinking lots and lots of coffee to achieve excellent grades!

This entry kinda make me sad. Very very sad. Suddenly very emo. Thanks, bro, for making me so.
I just couldn’t believe there are still people who treated their aged parents that way. How cruel human beings can be. And like what you’ve said – their own flesh and blood some more. Hmmm.
I just dun understand the rational behind your own son/daughter treating their aged parents like sh*t. I wish they are treated that way by their own children when they grow older.
Sigh. Singapore as a gracious society? Wait long long. More should be done to achieve this.
And one more thing bro, i respect your profession. Kudos to all paramedics in Singapore. =)
Yes. Its a sad and cruel world out there. Sometimes, its weird that when you see all those nice little things from the outside, but when you come inside, and explore more, there’s so many nasty things that you wished, you didn’t noticed.
Thanks. My profession has its ups and down, but I do enjoy what I am doing. :)
Yes, this is a rather sad and harsh fact of reality hitting us these days.
Majority said that they have no time to look after their parents because they were too busy with their schedule or jobs.
I thoroughly agree with what you said. Although they’re old, it doesn’t mean that they’re not our parents anymore. We should never forget how hard they’ve tried to bring us up all these years without any regrets…and now that they’re old, we should spend more time with them and let them know that we really care for them…
A lesson worth learning, yes? Its easy said then being done, now doesn’t it? We can always say, we want to spend time with our parents. But do we make that ‘extra’ effort? I guessed, just by having those small chats and asking them about how things are doing, on their side, will make a smile on their face already. True?
That is indeed sad. I was totally appalled when you told me of this the last time, still am after reading this. How could someone be treated like that, kesian
Do you made any follow up of that old man btw?
Oh, you remember this story? Hehe. I can’t think of a good story, so I recall of the case I did, that have some lessons need to be learnt, so yar, there’s the entry.
Hhhhmmm… Honestly? No. I don’t do a follow up on most of my cases. Only special cases that I need to do a special report, that I will do a follow up. Maybe I should right a report against them!! Right?
I wana hear more of ur stories. It’s interesting to hear life experiences from all walks of life. =) Let’s have a show and tell session one of the days next month. Haha.
That was unbelievably inhumane. Know what, you should just smear all that crap in the owner’s face instead of splatting it on the parquet flooring. That will be like, in your face biatch! *splats*
I was so thinking of doing that man! Hahaha! Threw it on their face! That will teach them a lesson!
Oh yes! Please do have a meet up session! :)
nasib baik tu paramedic bukan aku. tu paramedic kalau aku, tu jantan n betina kaya kat rumah mesti kena maki hamun sama aku. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee gerammmmmmmmmmnye akuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
farkin son daughters of devil!!!! how i wish im there to give them the most disgusting look and just shout at them, demand for bedsheet and ask them to clear the feces themselves!!!! alamak yanni tak boleh tahan dengar cam gini nye story!!!!
You sounded just like one of my female colleagues. She, very fierce! If she feels that her patient is being mistreated, and is not being care – properly, she will literally BARK at the relatives!!!
I’m so amazed that she can do that. As for me, I don’t dare lah. Cos later kena complain, even more worst. There’s goes my bonus!
:(
dah tak tau apa nak cakap :(
sad, isn’t it?
Woah. That was quite an entry. And that is also reality.Sampai hati dorang buat their own flesh and blood like that :(
Yar. Shocking right? Maybe, them being rich, has made them emotionless and don’t care about what’s happening to their surrounding.
haha…. ALL THE best. dont stress
eye opener. eye opener. tsk tsk tsk.
Glad that you are able to see a small insight of it.
trust eddy for a short into, a great write up, without jeopardising his readers’ interest, and always end up with something funny in the end.
but I have to say, its sad at how someone treat his own flesh and blood in that manner. I would have throw the dirty soiled sheet at that a**hole face!
Heheh. Thanks.
Like I’ve mentioned earlier, to Hak, I wanted to do that also lah. But that will be like a pot calling the kettle black. Isn’t it? I mean, I want to treat them the way they need to be treated. So I just do what I need to do to my patient, and let the mess for them to cover up! Right? ;)
aiseyman! off with their heads!!!
such a stupid idea. to leave the dad outside the toilet.. why didnt he just put the old man on the toilet bowl. or in the bathtub for that matter. pfffffffffffft!
stupid lah some of these freaking rich idiots. can make big wise decisions in their companys but when it comes to these, haiyah!!!
kesian tu orang tua..
So true!!! Some rich idiots are just super duper stupid. I think, what they are always thinking, is about making more money!
Yar. The old man is very pitiful. You should see how his condition really is. Really shocking! The shit on his hands, buttocks, stomach… All OVER. Shocking!
Goodness! How appauling! And the fact that they can selamba-ly say that they didnt have any idea, kang ku sepak kang!
Eh eddy i miss your this kinda stories la :(
Dearest Fad, yes, i miss writing like this too lah. But too bad, the management is around my neck! They don’t allow certain stories to be told. Very the headache, when you have spy and people looking and you don’t feel secure.
I want to lempang and sepak them at the same time!!!!
The riches doesn’t necessarily have the brain.
True!!! Most of them are left in their ass**** I think!!!
Hahahahah
