Can’t Login to MSN

Stupid cocknadan Microsoft. They roll out a new security patch for MSN Messenger, as a requirement to continue using MSN, you need to upgrade to v8.1 Live Messenger if you’re on older versions. Now that’s blackmail. Can’t they install patches fix for older versions too.

This Anand fella, product manager from Microsoft Messenger says “If you are using a Windows XP or later system, then there is no reason why you shouldn’t be using the latest and greatest released version of Messenger. Messenger 8.1 was released earlier this year. It the most stable and reliable version of Messenger. It also has the latest security updates”

Well screw Microsoft, don’t they know not all computers are Vista enable or equipped with high specs. When I installed the MSN upgrade, the MSN Live took alot of my PC resources. The old lady just muddles there and freeze intermittently. Oh my poor PC.

Because of this screw-up I missed my online MSN school meeting. The issue just turned me off and I kinda forget about the meeting! Hahaha. Can I get any compensation from Microsoft you think? Hehehe. Where’s a lawyer when you need one

Infact many MSN users all over the world are not happy too

Its downright ridiculous I tell you.
Sometime in Dec last year, I did an upgrade of MSN to that Live program and there were just too many bugs and frequent disconnection when using it.

Somehow, you need to have a steady network connection of at least 1 mbps else the drop in network will straightaway disconnect the darn thing.

So piss off with its memory usage that I uninstall and rollback to the old Msn 7.5 :-)
The only good thing abt Msn LIVE is that you can send msn messages to offline contacts.
But then again, what’s the point of having offline messages right ?

Maybe temporarily you could use web messenger

    http://webmessenger.msn.com/

Or try downloading trillian : this instant messenger can support multiple accounts at one time. This means that you can log in your yahoo chat, msn chat, AIM, ICQ etc, all at the same time
