End of an era

Sha September 1, 2010 0

I’ve finally decide to terminate my old Internet account, Pacific Internet. My first ever, for which I signed up back in 1997. It serves no purpose, and I’ve been paying monthly at $7.35 via GIRO with no usage at all.

It used to be $100 a month for unlimited usage, I believe at a speed of 256kbps? Well correct me if I’m wrong. And now broadband prices are dirt-cheap right.

I had plenty of good times then, from learning HTML, to my first ever online porn encounter. One thing I mastered over the years is to be in control.

Do not let your various interest in cyberspace dictate your life, but it’s the other way round. There’s life beyond the Internet mind you, and be wary of online predators and scammers.

Oh well, time to move on. Bye bye Pacnet, hello fibre optic Internet.
