No more privacy in this Internet Age
Being in the Internet Age, the privacy matters aspects are lacking and the laws are always a step or two behind in protecting people privacy or the law need to play catch-up with the ever evolving technology.
Well once you posted something on the WWW, its there to stay, no matter how hard you try to get if offline
As I get older, I’m getting wiser but cynical too. Recently I scrutinized every corner of the web that has information about me. Yeah I did some ‘editing’ of my profile online, some deletion and such.
I was way too relaxed with what I shared online previously, especially during my Internet noobs days.
Now I’ve made it in such a way there’s enough information out there on the WWW to let people know that I exist for business sake, but the personal stuff, I’ve not shared much or has deleted most of the part recently.
I think the only place that still have personal information of me is this blog and I’m too lazy to go through the 1000 plus entries I have. So I’ll leave it to later or just leave it be. It is a personal blog anyway right
So people, learn from my experience, before you post anything about yourself, think of how that information can actually be used against you. Well you just never know lah … plenty of kaypoh people out there
