Here’s looking at you, kid

At times I would find that I could do the difficult things in life that needed to be done with much ease, if I were to pretend to be someone else.

Most of the time I would like imagine myself to be one of the characters from my favorite film noir movies. Visualization, and a vivid imagination I reckon are part of my array of ‘props’ when I get into such a situation.

I guess I attribute that to my penchant for melancholy and pessimism, the primary moods of a classic film noir. Yeah you might think it’s a bit weird hur, but hey at least I’m not acting it out loud for all to see.

Bujang Lapok is classic in local context kan, while the rest, great movies in their own right.
