It’s been said, it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog. That proved to be true over the weekend when three little Chihuahuas took on a 100-pound mountain lion and saved a three-year-old girl.
A mountain lion was standing in a family’s garage and so was the three year old. The Chihuahuas knew it and stood between the lion and the little girl to protect her. That’s when the girl’s mother pulled her daughter to safety and started videotaping.
In the end it was Gita the Chihuahua who went toe-to-toe with the mountain lion, refusing to let the cornered-cat anywhere near the little girl.
Cute right, Chihuahuas have been known to be protective of their owners … Lesson learned, it’s the bark not the bite, so size does not matter!
tts a really touching story..sometimes when an animal did tt for its owners, u cant stop bt feel so overwhelm with emotions… :) sadly, there are still some pple out there who doesnt know hw to appreciate animals.. abusing them like nobody business… sigh… tts sad…
bt welll.. still i do have my pet peeve which is……cycling along ECP and getting harassed or irritatingly loud barking from those chihuahuas when in the 1st place i m on my bike cycling and minding my own business and not disturbing their owners at all.. hahahaa… yes they are small.. bt welll.. they do have a loud and kinda of irritating yeep, yeep kind of barking voice… hahahha.. .:P bt hey no offence… animals are cute.. just that sometimes pet peeve once in a while..:P
