Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

I see myself as a vintage wine … I get ‘better’ as I aged.

How do I define better then?

Well for me it’s physical, spiritual and mental well-being.

It’s a mad world out there and ultimately you need to look out for yourself first and your immediate family of course.

No one can wake up one day and say they want instant change. I believe in gradual consistent changes over time. That’s how you make things work and happen.

Get rid of that disposable friends, leeches and associates that only make you irk. It’s unhealthy to surround yourself with negative energies that suck the life out of you.

That’s why I always like watching movies with happy ending (well most of the time, unless its zombies movies, I love the genre!), be gregarious in your laughter, listen to self-help audiobooks, be grateful always, offer a helping hand wholeheartedly when asked upon, bask in the nature, go for a run …

The bottomline, I do things that makes me content, happy and enriches my life and experience.

I’ve reached 1/3 of my life now (based on Singapore average life expectancy lah, haha) and hopefully there’s more to come.

But if my life does come to an end much earlier than expected, I would have known I’ve done things my way, and on my terms and nothing else.

It is on my terms, which is a good way to go out eh.
