Once when I was a kid, someone handed me a pair of nice looking Reebok-pump shoes.
I mean they were really cool. Every kid was wearing them and I got one myself.
But the thing is I was a ‘saver’ kind of person … okay you can call it stingy in a sense lah.
Well I decided to save it for special occasions only, and you know what.
That day never came.
I kept the shoe in a box, hidden, trying to protect it when I should be using them.
I totally forgotten about the shoe and in the end, I had outgrew a perfectly good footwear.
Yeah what a waste right.
I think that story sums up about life itself.
Don’t be that grumpy old man who’s stingy with anything and everything.
Yes we should instill the attitude and habit of saving for a raining day, but if you can afford it, let loose and enjoy life a little.
