All right finally, some photos!

I know I’ve been committing social suicide lately, but I’ve been in a grumpy mood as of late and am trying hard really to transition into a happier Doraemon, well hopefully lah.

The photos in this entry are courtesy of my bloggers friends.

Well I’ve my internship friends, old neighbour pals to friends-with-benefits, but I’ve to admit my blogger friends are the most photogenic of them all. The most absolute sporting of them all when its photo taking time.

We took photos in numbers as if there will be no tomorrow.

Don’t be surprised if we bloggers treasure our digital cameras more instead of the person next to us.

Well we met last weekend. The damage? Being $20 poorer after feasting ourselves at Suntec’s Swensens and coming home with sweaty undies after all the jumpshots we took during camwhoring.

The group consist of the usual lot minus one and a new addition. Alphabetically in order; Eddy, Faddy, Hak and Hana.

Crayfish Pasta

The plan was to meet up outside Thai Express at City Link and makan there, but it seems Hak share my reservations about the place, although I didn’t share my thoughts with the group. The last time I ate at Thai Express, the food tasted like bicycle tyre.

So we settled at Swensen. The food was good. I and Fad ordered Crayfish Pasta. I knew my order will taste the same as the pasta I cooked at home, but the thought of the delicious crayfish, of man … I chose the dish just because of that.

The other two peeps, Hana and Eddy chose braided chicken fillet if I’m not wrong. Looks like the hawker chicken cutlet to me. Must be yummy, as the duo finished and licked their plates clean.

While Hak the talented star-karat he is, ordered something different than the four of us. Some huge burger with some long name. I tend to forget things that contain more than two syllabuses. Yes I’m pathetic.

After makan and talk-mambang session, we left for some smoking time outdoors. The smokers in our group puffed away, while the non-smokers sucked each others thumbs kinkily while waiting.

Nothing wrong wif Eddy’s face, he’s just trying to act cute

Then we proceed to Timbre for an event hosted by my old Alma mater, Singapore Poly, at Timbre. We got in thanks to Hak, VIP style baby! This dude got connections.

I can’t say about anyone else in the group, but I was just happy to munch on the free cream puffs and gulping down the free-flow drinks. Everything else was a blur … just kidding of course.

Truthfully I do clearly and painfully recalled my time at Timbre as I was the oldest patron there! I was surrounded by bunch of young virgin poly kids.

We shortly left the place when we overheard whispers by Timbre staff to remove free-loaders. I could see they were eying me especially, so I left before making any Suria scenes.

Overall it was a fun evening; it sure beats my usual evening routine of clipping my toenails and pedicure. We promised to meet up soon again.
