Vivocity

I’ve finally made my way down to the new Vivocity down at Harborfront last Sunday. I was amazed by how big the place is!

One good thing is that, there’s a toilet like every ten meters of walking but the downside, I can’t find the bloody ATM to withdraw my money. They like hid it at one corner of the mall.

I was there on Sunday after my morning race and decided to ‘hang’ there for some study time. I could never get any peace or the necessary study ‘mojo’ at home.

And oh yah I ate at Carl’s Junior at Vivocity. They had this really big humongous burger for like $11 bucks! It took me like 20 minutes to finally finished it. But it was well worth it, indigestion after effects and all. Hahaha.

Here’s a view of my study corner then. It overlook the sea straits facing Sentosa (you can’t really see the ocean, but it’s just over the horizon).

Around evening time, Hairol decided to join me after work. It was great seeing the dude coz it’s been awhile since I last saw him.

He looked jaded but alive. We ate at Pizza hut and had seafood. Haha, of all places, we ate seafood at a Pizza Hut joint, which in-turn gave us the ‘bad tummies’ later on when we were watching our movie.

We watched Apocalypto. Stomach ache took a backseat literally, for the whole show as it’s quite a movie well worth spending your money on!

Trust me. Mel Gibson was at the director’s helm and it’s 2.5 hours long. If that’s not enough reason, well it’s gory too! My kind of movie!

Ahh well that’s my typical daily grind as a dude in Singapore … Share with me yours!
