My main purpose of setting up this blog is primarily a blog about my daily routine plus promoting and encouraging the Melayu Boleh mindset.
Some people might view it as an attempt to conjure ‘race supremacy’ among my readers. No it isn’t!
To me ‘Melayu Boleh’ is all about re-instilling the self-belief in the Melayus, that most Malays lack. Thus literally the direct translation “Melayu Boleh = Malays Can”
I would like thank Cowboy Caleb featuring me on his blog plus on sgBlogs.
I’m glad this blog which started out late last year, has generated a lot of interest and discussion. If you were to do a search keyword of Melayu Boleh, most of the result is either porn or something crappy, yours truly is the only genuine one with honest to god good intentions!
If you’ve missed out on some of my Melayu related blog entries, well here they are
– The Malays a creative mess?
- Idola aku
- The Malays in Education
I’m glad some of these comments left a trail of interesting discussion among the readers. Some of the comments itself can be an entry on it’s own.
Well keep the comments coming and I’ll continue posting Melayu Boleh related entries. Hmm what shall I discuss next eh …

sha boleh!

referring to the spam protection: hey addition is hard enough already! wakakakaka..

the malays have progressed through out the years… hhhmmm… thats a tough topic… cos seriously, we have been upgrading ourselves, and our lives seems to be much better…
the ‘better’ we progress, the ‘baggage’ also become heavier. it comes hand-in-hand
“with great fame comes a great number of links”

Sha, someone (Melayu Lama) in Malaysia commented that Malays in Spore like yourself are being discriminated. I’d love to hear what’s your comment abt it. Do you feel discriminated being a Malay in SPore?
“I think the saddest bunch to be left out in the cold are our Malay brothers and sisters down in singapore. Their own government marginalizes them and their Malaysian neighbors don’t care enough to help them because the Malaysian government is too busy cheating it’s own people.”

Do you need help from Malaysia?
Do we?
hello everyone
waht’s going on?
dah dikatakan, jangan peduli sangat apa orang kata terhadap kepenggiran kita di s’pore!
is not going to work well,if we selalu dok memperkatakan ‘kepeminggiran’,dan akhirnya kita
tak kemana.kita rugi, kita kalah dalam pertarungan untuk berjaya.
leave alone the dirty word — peminggiran(it is very corosive if this issue,we touch on deeply)
who cares about the word ‘marginalised’.the only people who cares too much about it,is sadist.whether it coexist with us,who cares,we are here to do the work until progress prevail..
just leave and move on,apa orang nak kata, jangan hiraukan sangat, dia dapat dosa and kita dapat pahala. kita just do the right thing and focus on kejayaan yang lebih cemerlang.
look at the malaysians chinese, dia orang tidaklah peduli sangat kena pinggir, namun mereka berjaya merentasi halangan yang cukup hebat itu.Yang sangat gelabar,is DAP and freiends saja.
if the singapore malays were to look into titik benik, then well of course all we dapat is
‘political whippings’,and there’s no end to it,because kita lahikan lebih banyak ‘hang jabat of the opposition’.
wahai Anon, saya minta tolong berhenti cakap pasal, singapore malays kena marginalised and taht malaysian government tak ambil pedulu langsung dalam hal ini kerana ia begitu
taksub menipu orang sendiri.(for u,Anon,u can dicuse with me at length many more times.
and for Uncle sha, please confidentially, give to Anon,my email for her perusals)
my only hope is taht is must be ‘talkinised’ with immediate effect, with a doa tolak balak.amin.
bye c u.
you cant however say there’s no marginalisation. even if there is, it’s a matter of your priorities. does it lies in the improvement of melayus through radical political means or your own little contribution, e,g focus on your family instead rather than joining the displeased melayus ‘mob’ disgruntled over so called marginalisation.
i don’t give a damn flying rat-ass about it. i believe everyone has an equal chance as the person next to them, whateva skin tone color. it’s all about hard work. let your work to the talking, so call to say
good one tok selehon!
agreed with tok selehon.pokok pangkalnye pemikiran kita sendiri.our mindset that sets the differences.instead of just being a ‘pak turut’ and live in work in the doldrums, why not come out and prove the whole lot that they are wrong, and we malays can be depended upon and not a second-class race.
we Melayus aren’t Layu.heh
ps. uncle,no need to link me that many leh.one is enuff.hehe -_-
ok one link for now :-)
hello everyone.
i think dunia melayu sudah start ‘naik angin’ untuk bekerja lebih keras sampai no end.
i am very happy and proud to hear taht amat ramai malays ada impian tersendiri.malays ada cita2 tersendiri.malays are a good lot to create something different dimana tuk noyang kita akan berasa bangga dengan citarasa, perasaan, kewajipan menidakkan semua tindak tanduk negatif dan sekaligus terus and terus maju kehadapan demi masa depan yang penuh terjamin, terserlah nun jauh tinggi diatas menara gading.kita berdoa semuga tuk noyang kita adalah dikalangan orang2 yang beriman.amin.don’t forget pesan2 yang bernas oleh tuk noyang kita.
seperkara yang waht i going to say is,forget about ‘worse’ past, but pastikan ia tidak di-hidupkan semula.generate the hatred feeling of the ‘worst’ past.pesan budak2 melayu yang
kita bukan bangsa yang boleh taken for a ride.
leave all poorly laid political baggage of the malays and move on.
bye c u.
For me, i hear lots of stories and complains… i agree with some of your readers here.. i think malays should just stand up for themselves and not be “bullied” or “tricked”…
we should stop complaining and start making changes
oh and actually, what counts is ur religion as a Muslim..i agree with tok selehon when he said “ia boleh merosakkan akidah dan keimanan terhadap Allah…” Why care abt what the others say abt us.. know ur religion, know where u stand..
hopefully 9+2 is 11..
Well, I certainly see Melayu Boleh a good movement or initiative to instill self-belief amongst malay people. Good job.
well its just not me, the readers account for most if it
i’ve to thank them for that :-)
semalam.sg
arkib.sg pun oklah jugak :-)
hello everyone
assalamualaikum
peace be upon you
i sudah cukup bangga, everyone of us taht including Tommy Chieng, put up lots of substance on melayu boleh becomes popular.
i now have to move on to many blog terutamanya blog melayu yang perihatin dengan isu2 melayu boleh.
thanks for waht u guys, beri ideas and sokongan padu dengan tersohornya bangsa melayu.
and it is indeed very refreshing ramai anak2 melayu mahu maju sekaligus
tinggalkan ‘stigma melayu’ yang tak ada faedah langsung.dari pada itu, malays can even help the other malays yang tidak begitu berjaya.
kepada sesiapa pun i said, work and work, and work extremely hard and jangan lupa pesanan
tuk noyang kita,as to Doa,Usaha,Ikhtiar and Tawakal.
don’t worry i will visit you guys, and i will rise, to beri pandangan dan huraian pada anak2 melayu yang i sayangi and hormati.
bye now, insyaAllah,God’s willing,we see again next time.
wasallam.
Assalamualaikum.
Sha!!!
Wah… ur website Really awesome!!
babe!!!!!!
where have you been
“Melayu boleh” ? You sound like melayu “tak boleh” in your post about malay owning a car. How ironic. Move on. There’s no need to degraded your own race. Sometimes it’s better to mind your own business. Based on your previous post, I’m disappointed. So what if they own a car? It’s their own personal reason. They may want to flaunt it or use as a transportation. Just because a malay own a car, it doesn’t meant that they couldn’t afford it. Just because you know 1-2 people who flaunt their cars, doesnt mean MOST of them do that.
I’ve personally seen myself that malays nowadays are doing very well in Singapore and even overseas. Maybe the least you could do it give a fair comparision. Instead of everybody critisizing those who wanted to “act rich”. Why don’t you, yourself help each other instead. You talk, the talk but you don’t walk the walk. Just like you don’t practice what you preach. *end rants*
Degrade my own race? haha good one.
Theres Malays who are doing well, and I’ve featured them before. Do a search before you comment la.
Life is not a bed of roses, should i sweep the issue under the rug and say it never happen. Dei, go back to your yellow brick road and meet your wizard of oz. You live in a fairy tale world
i don’t walk, i run … not hapi, fly kite sudah
Case close. Flamers do fwd this entry remaining comments to 1800-MORON
