So another new local movie production in the form of Leap Years

Well I’ve seen the trailer and it didn’t do justice for the much hyped emo love story

The trailer is amazingly five minutes long and it’s deadpan boring with lots of running scene

Running on the bridge, running on the streets, running away from someone, running for someone, running in the rain

You get my drift …

You might think it’s a another remake of Chariots of Fire

But you can’t really judge a movie from its trailer unless you’ve seen it right

Well so far, the critics are not giving the movie rave reviews themselves

Probably the only reason I’ll be seeing the show is to watch the beautiful people in the movie … such as Wong Li Lin, Nadya Hutagalung, Vernetta Lopez and such

Even the lead guy is ‘pretty’, those androgynous looking dude

I and plenty of other guys will probably leave the theater feeling all insecure, hah!

I’ll catch it soon enough, and hope it won’t be a disappointment

u should read the book before watching the movie. i have yet to read it but my sister has. she said the book’s much better compared to the movie. just her opinion. urs might differ.

Fitree : I didnt know that the movie is made 3 years earlier! Thanks for the trivia … hehehe

Sha : After malique told me about the movie, I’d like to watch it too. He said that he was really touched by it :)

Though the preview looked really unreal, Singapore looking more like london and the people talking in british slang. I think it’ll be a good watch.

Where/when are you watching? Can I kepo also? Hehehehe

fitree is right. the movie was made in 2005. the usual local production hiccups. ;)
