Movie Remakes

Most movie remakes I’ve seen are crap, such as 1998 Psycho, a remake of Alfred Hitchcock classic, to Jessica Biel’s 2003 remake of 1974 slasher cult following The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Can’t Hollywood think of anything original.

And there’s another remake I want to highlight, an upcoming film call Let Me In, which is a 2010 remake of 2008 Swedish hit Låt den rätte komma in (Let the Right One In).

I’m singling this out one as the Swedish film is one of my favorite movie of all time, and the Hollywood version I reckon will ‘butcher’ the story.

Why I love the movie, well I believe this is how a vampire film should be done. Not one where vampires glows and sparkle when they are exposed to the sun *hint hint*.
