I’m a big fan of 80′s The Karate Kid with Ralph Macchio and the late Pat Morita, and now there’s an updated version of it.
Starring Jackie Chan and Will Smith’s kid, Jaden Smith. In fact his famous papa and mama are the producers of the film. Aaah the life of a privileged kid.
The trailer below looks enticing, I just do hope there’s more of course. You know how sometimes a movie sucks, and the editor took the only good few scenes in the film and used it for the trailers.
The Karate Kid is an upcoming 2010 martial arts film remake of the 1984 film of the same name. Directed by Harald Zwart, the remake stars Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan. Principal photography for the film took place in Beijing, China; filming began around July 2009 and ended on October 16, 2009. The Karate Kid will be released theatrically in the United States on June 11, 2010.
