I’m learning new acronyms these days.
TTYL - Talk to you later
CPL - Couple
D&D free – Drug and Disease free
MSW - Men seeking women
NBM – Never been married
LD - Light drinker
SGL - Single
GSOH – Good sense of humor
MBA - Married but available
VBD – Very bad date
KOS - Kid over shoulder
Well I kinda picked it up while cyber-dating. Don’t laugh!
Well some of you might have a hunch on the above, yes indeed the lingo are dating related acronyms. I think I’ve surprised even myself by signing up at a dating site, Friend Finder.
I know I’ve mentioned before and struck-off any ideas of meeting gals online ever again, but this is different right. Your detailed profile is online, photos are included, and basically you’re matched with people who are within your interested parameters.
I haven’t had any dates as of yet, there were some interest, but logistics kinda got in the way. I’m here in Singapore, while the gal I’ve been exchanging personals with is on the other side of the world. You get my point.
This cyber dating stuff does make me sounds pathetic yar. Well you can pity me all you want baby, what matters is that I’m at least active in pursuing my rather lackluster dating life. It’s better than doing nothing and just rot.
As with my foray of real-life dating, I’m taking things slowly and am not expecting anything out of this. If it happens, it happens.
And friends, please no more blind-dates! Please please please please …
Well wish me luck!
