I had a haircut at my school salon the other day and manage to chat-up with a china girl who was beside me cutting her hair.
Here’s part our conversation
Me: Hi, happy new year
China Girl: Ohh thank you
Me: Hows things?
China Girl: Very good, good good
Me: Nice hair
China Girl: Erm yours too (**giggles**)
Me: Thanks? i think
China Girl: Are you a foreigner?
Me: Why do you ask, do I look like a foreigner?
China Girl: Yes you do
Me: Well what do you think
China Girl: I think you are, and oh yah do you know there’s a Chinese New Year gathering by my Chinese Student group. Were inviting all foreign student to participate and share with our culture at MLT (multi lecture theatre). Would you like to come?
Me: Oh I’m not a foreigner, sorry. I’ll tell my other foreign student friends ok
China Girl: Errr ok
Our conversation ended there as she left the salon and the next thing I know, my hairdresser poked my head.
Hairdresser: Eh you should have said you’re a foreign student mah! Then you can go out on a date. She asked you out lei. You stupid ah
Me: Did she?
Hairdresser: Yes she did, you not only stupid but blur sotong (dumbass) too
Me: I guess she did, Oooh yah orh, I didnt realise (**pouts**)
Thats how dumb I am … haha
