You know how facebook is the in-thing nowadays and Friendster is so so passe, well I’ve not caught the facebook bug yet, maybe it’s because too many applications and stuff in there.
I’m quite a simple person, so to me ‘less is better’
I signed up because everyone was signing up and raving about it. My first add was a blogger fren, Myztika and slowly I’ve amassed more ‘friends’. I’m trying not to make facebook like a cheap whore like I did with Friendster, I’m adding specific people only
In fact I think this is where social networking is heading, applications where the user create themselves. Modules made by the people, for the people
Anyway I was looking to join my old alma matta, I joined Singapore Polytechnic and NTU school groups, but I can’t seem to find ITE group.
Don’t tell me ITE peeps are not facebook savvy … haha

I think Facebook is better than Friendster in a way that, you cant put some fancy twittish nickname as your profile name i.e. ”:PwrinCeSZzZ:” or whatever. So it’s easier for you to search for your friends. And there are tons of applications, which is senseless yet, the whole idea is to interact with your friends in a fun/noti way. Haha.
And I wont suffer anymore eyesores looking at pages with freakenly irritating moving glittery .gif images as background.

I subscribe a couple of weeks back but did not login since then. Today when I tried to login, I was surprised to see so much pokes/bites/punches being thrown at me. Hahahaha
these days i only add friends, never did dabble with the applications

facebook.. friendster.. myspace.. hi-5..bebo.. so many freaking networks.. all sooo sooo sooo over-rated..hahahahahaha.. i have facebook.. have had it for a while.. a long while actually.. never did do much to it.. but to keep in contact with friends.. everytime i log on at the end of the week.. i’ve accumalated like 30 friends.. all of whom i know from highschool and uni.. and to go thru each one to approve is soo time consuming.. collect dust je.. hahahahahaha..

i am a facebook ADDICT…like it’s really bad. i’m on it several times a day. hahahahaha
but it’s our way here at UTSA to communicate and stuff….u can put tons of shit on there….and i agree. the applications are getting to be an overload…trust me, i feel overwhelmed with mine and i odn’t even have half of the applications available
