I’m just amazed by the technology these days.
A recent tech advent that I reckon that benefit those who wants to reconnect with their long lost schoolmates, pals, or loved ones, is FaceBook.
I guess we humans have a deep sense of nostalgia.
I recently signed up to my high school Alumni FaceBook page, Woodlands Secondary School.
For most people, high school is probably their best, and at the same time represent the worst time of their life. A large chunk of my funky memories are from this period of my life itself.
Be it embarrassing, fun or otherwise for doing this, I would really like to find out what has happened to my batch back in the 90′s.
After I signed up, I did find a couple of familiar faces under the Members page.
I recognized old schoolmates by their appearance, although the names on their profile was kinda a bit dodgy for me, as it has been a decade plus since I left school.
I can’t remember them all lah.

I was however dismay that I can’t find a particular person. A hottie from my school.
Who is she? … Well I was moronic enough to give her the pass when she was interested in me back then.
The thing is I was scared shitless about girls, let alone be in their presence in my younger days. I know, I know, I was such a wuss! Hahaha …
I was a quiet and a low profile kid back then. Hey I still am now, keke … I took upon my creative talents to express myself mainly back then.
Uncle Sha was in-charge of the class decorations and the bulletin board. I remembered sketching cartoons and such. It was fun doing so, and I didn’t really consider it as a chore.
I remembered once when I had a similarly talented kid in my class.
The Cheena kid and me would always compete for top marks in Arts class. We both have equal good and bad days. I might say he’s a more natural talent in shading and landscape, while I’m more into abstract type of arts.
Aaahh the good ol days …
