Many might think that looks doesn’t matter but it does play a big part.
What if I’m predisposed with a genetic disorder where no matter what I do, I’ll still be looking like Fat Albert.

Hey dont underestimate.. some people actually find that look a turn on.. hahaha.. but honestly. i’ve never been one to pick at a persons flaws. i am not perfect myself, so why only judge a book by its cover?! why only stop getting to know people only at their looks? the more best part about knowing someone is to know their history, looks may initially impress people, but airheadness i cannot stand. i have friends from all shapes sizes colour gender races and orientations.. and to be honest.. nothing attracts me more than an good humoured, friendly, open, honest person.

Unfortunately, yes, looks does matter. A lot! It’s shallow, but that’s the truth. Everybody judges everyone else based on their looks.

No. (2) is when you’ve never met the person before but fall in love with the personality. That’s possible of course, but looks do matter.

looks matters to me, really a lot. in my OWN opinion, most obese ppl can’t be bothered to look good, to slim down, to have a healthy lifestyle and etc.. most obese ppl smells when they perspire. they cant be bothered when comes to personal hygiene. why? is there any particular reason why??

The only way u can get a girl looking like that is if there’s any girl who is equally hairy, obese and errr, oily… but so far most of the obese (ok lah, not THAT obese) people i know have great personalities and yes, they get laid too, just noe hw to psycho can oready… hahah…

Sadly, the world criticize you when you are fat…. or when you gain weight… or when you are too thin.. basically when you are not “perfect” in their eyes, the world criticize you.. I have watched talk shows like Opera and Tyra Banks, and they covered topics about being fat and how woman sturggle through their lives just cos they are fat and different and people stare at them! So sad you know..Ya, looks matter in relationships because people are made to think that way. stereotypical thinking.. I went to this wedding where the bride is really fat and the groom is really thin.. .. See, he saw her inner beauty..
I really do not like the way people always judge others..unfortunately, we shape our lives base on the society’s opinions, way of thinking and judgements..who was the first person to decide that being thin and lean was perfect…who was the first to decide that it is alright to criticise and stare and hate people who are fat or not slim and lean..and that being fat,not slim and not lean is wrong.. so, i do not really like this entry of yours.. no offence uncle..:-) but you have a great body and not so bad looking..so don’t think of yourself otherwise..
but if being fat makes the person unhealthy and many sickness than that is another story ..

looks matter bcos pple are superficial! think abt how all the pretty/handsome pple are always treated better than normal mortals. pretty girls can get away with ANYTHING if they so decide to. im sure it’s likewise for the good-looking guys.
btw, even if u look like that, as long as u have the moolah, u’ll have no lack of materialistic bimbos willing to go out with u. :P sad but true.
anyway, we shouldn’t look down on all obese pple. it might be a medical condition outside of their control. it’s not simply a case of gluttony for some of them.
btw, i did go through a phase during which i found chubby guys attractive before! wakakakakaka…
there was a study on this and indeed the more fairer or more better looking, etc have better prospect on the initial front but the study also mentioned, but in the long run, e.g your good performance on the job or situation will warrant better prospects instead.
so i guess when going for interview, get your better looking person go in your place to secure the job, when you get the job, you swap in :p

Aiyo..i believe that look doesn’t matter, but to an extend. Who would wanna date someone who is so unkempt and likely seem inhuman? Unless you are born fat, can’t blame anyone right. My bf is a plus size, and his kind heart and sincerity is what matters to me.

Well attraction has to be there and as far as love at first sight is concerned, looks definitely matters. But there are relationships that grow from friendship to love. And actually here, looks do not matter much; it’s either their need or someone’s hard work…
