Well I’ve been exploring the portal for some time now and here’s my experience regarding it.
Let’s start with the aesthetic aspect. Being a web designer myself, I must find the colors rather soothing, blue is in, and the shades aren’t too striking for one’s eyes.
Sufficient navigational links
I find the navigation feel is ample and within reach. I like how all my access is under one horizontal navigational bar, from Profile, Buddy List, my photos and groups, to my online status.
However I was wondering where was the search form. Well amid my ‘blindness’, it’s actually there, it’s just that I missed it. It’s a text link, and when you clicked on the search link, the Search form will appear. Cool!
Chat Room
It’s been awhile since I’ve chatted online. The last time was during my mIRC days, and in2it.sg website has the capability of such a feature.
Just click on the “Chat Room” button found on the top left navigation. It’s a pretty simple enough chat-room, I had no difficulties logging in. You just need to register at in2it.sg and everything will be handled by the site.
Interest Group
One of the main compelling reason I signed-up with in2it.sg is because of it’s Interest Group. Here’s a chance for me to find similar like-minds who share the same interest as me.
So far I’ve shortlisted the Dragon Boat, Gym, and Community Service Club as the few groups I’ll be joining soon. This is really exciting, as sometimes under normal circumstances, it’s rather hard and awkward to find such groups and people.
The Content
Aside from all that interaction on in2it.sg, the other attracting feature on the site would probably it’s content. I would have to give props to some of the interesting articles and it’s lively participated forum.
In a recent article posted, “Healthy Living“, I do have to agree with the entry contributor. Being a health nut myself, you can’t buy health, and one should utmost do their best to keep their state of health at tip-top condition, and aim for a better quality of life always.
I was also hooked to the forum where under the sporty section, there’s many weekend warriors like me looking for training khakis (buddy). Like this thread that I found where the user are looking for more runners.
So there you go, in2it.sg is a lifestyle platform to connect users like NSman through their various personal interests and hobbies.
