I somewhat missed my National Service days, not that I want to do it again, but perhaps to share and tell my stories from my armchair here. Typical lazy Singaporean right.
So I searched around for platform to connect with such similar minds and perhaps meeting an old NS buddy, who knows.
Lo and behold I found in2it.sg
I found that in2it.sg portal is a wonderful platform as a non official and lifestyle centric platform to get in touch with fellow NSman and share stories.
And it seems that in2it.sg will be having it’s first anniversary celebrations, and they’re having a sort of a NS contest called When March Gets in2it!, with $6,000 worth of prizes to be won.
So that’s doubly good news for users like me! Not only I get to enjoy using the portal, but also win prizes for just participating in the site activities.
My NS “keng-ing” Days
For many of us guys I guess “keng-ing” served as the most memorable part of our NS or reservist moments.
I can still recall one “keng-ing” incident where the whole squad of us was late for a function. Our OC (officer in-charge) designated a time for a meeting point, but we were all late for it.
We all agreed between ourselves, that there were some mis-communication about the timing, and our OC bought it! Henggg right!! With that “keng-ing” we managed to skip the function, trouble-free.
