This spike has been good to me. I’ve done plenty of personal best and race couple of good races with it. It’s my third pair and I’ll keep on buying it until I find better replacement spikes.
The covering is hard and if you have ‘princess’ feet that ache easily, this is not the spike for you. It’s not well cushioned, so you’ll need to run hard with these babies.
I’ve effectively used it at 100m to 400m distance with no problems. The plate is stiff and not designed to articulate, so expect it no the best spikes for turns. Still overall it’s a good spike for it’s price and longevity.
